Be The Change

Be The Change--

Service Learning Organization

You must be the change you wish to see in the world.  Mahatma Gandhi

The purpose of our student service learning group, Be The Change  is to engage  students in educational learning experiences designed to broaden their awareness of the needs of people and communities around them.  Edgewood students are involved in making a difference in our school, in our communities, in our state, in our world.

We have been involved in activities such as school-wide food drive, cleanup of our school grounds, collecting school supplies for students in other countries, and planting on our school grounds.  This year over 75 students in grades 4-6 have signed up for this group, and we will be looking for more ways to make a and Be The Change in our world.
